Tough Environment Solution
1. Dust and dirt
Dust and dirt can be the some of the most main sources of wear in bearings. After engraining themselves within the bearings, contaminants may easily cause significant damages and potentially lead to system failures. These foreign particles can also contaminate lubricant used in bearings and cause accelerated wear and serious damages. Severity of bearing damage and its subsequenteffect on bearing service lifedepends on the size, hardness and concentration of contaminants.
2. External heat

A system operates at high temperature can cause bearing fatigue and damage from overheating. When selecting the proper bearing for your application, it is important to consider the required operating temperature and running schedule (continuous or intermittent) that the bearing needs to support.
3. Moisture
Water not only leads to rust and corrison but a reduction in oil film strength, resulting in overall poor lubricant conditions that can reduce the life expectancy of bearings by as much as 50%.
